QuestGarden

I chose do do my WebQuest project in QuestGarden. QuestGarden has been easy to maneuver through and I like that all you have to do is type in your information and then the program puts it in a standard format for student and teacher pages. There are however, some limitations that I have noticed such as the layout of the words changing from the screen that you type in, to the actual page once it is complete. Also, there aren't as many editing tools for graphic images so you would have to edit them in another program if you wanted more done. But overall, QuestGarden has been pretty user friendly and I would definitely use it again for future projects when I do have my own classroom.

  1. I agree Faye. It didn't have the "fluff" that's possible with Hyperstudio but it's a faster way in accomplishing the same goal. The nice thing about it is you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Simply put in your info. and the program does the rest. Plus, it's simplicity makes it easy for students to use because they will get to know "how" to use the WebQuest based on it's repetitive nature in "how" it is built. I can't wait to see your project! :)

  2. I just had the opportunity to look at your WebQuest. Awesome job! I really liked that you gave your students so many resources to go to if they knew someone who may need help! I thought you put a lot of thought into your WebQuest and it was easy and simple to follow. The only thing I would suggest is to add your technology standards that this activity has to offer. Great job as usual Faye. Good for you!
